It's been a while.

A couple weeks back I was digging my foot into the fake hardwood floor of our apartment room (don't ask me, I'll never tell), and I felt a sharp pain digging into my big toe. It was a tiny, tiny, tiny shard of glass. Since Ummi always takes shards of glass out of our feet (or my feet, rather, because I always get myself injured in every situation), I waited for her to be done with her work so I could tell her to take it out. But she didn't have time for me. "Google how to take glass out of your foot." Well, Google it I did. I found a source that told me to put glue on the disaster area and wait for the glue to dry, and then peel off the glue which will bring the glass shard with it. I was too lazy to sterilize a pair of tweezers, so I grabbed a glue bottle and slathered it over my toe. The glue took forever to dry and ran down my toe to the other toes and it just wasn't working, man. So eventually I washed the glue off, limped to Ummi's room to get t...

So what I gon do is I gon do dis

Okey anyways Hai I should probably hide behind a rock and be like "sorry I haven't written anything" and then y'all gonna come after me and growl and then I gonna hide UNDER the rock and be like "ok ok chill" Nah that probably wouldn't happen because this blog is lame. Nevertheless I still update it. ANYWHOOZE, the rainy weather is really getting to me. I have looked at the forecast for this whole week and only a few days will be sunny (yeah, cue the crying faces). BUT THIS IS THE PERFECT WEATHER FOR CAKE WARM CAKE MMMM YUMMY HOT MILK CAKE PERHAPS? YAAAS I don't even know what happened during the whole month of October except that I attended a wedding, went out for froyo, and went to my friend's house. Oh, and I turned seventeen. But that isn't important. Oh yeah, and I stopped babysitting. The mama discreetly fired me. (more crying faces) I started my English class on the the 21st. I might be going to college. Waa...

Guys.

I was just on Facebook watching this makeup tutorial. Guys, makeup is so weird. First you try to make your whole face one color. Then you want to mess that up by adding light and dark spots. Then you want to nearly POKE your eyes out while applying eyeliner to the waterline (makes me CRINGE!) and possibly pull out your eyelashes while curling them. What does it feel like to have makeup on your face? I don't think it would work for me, guys. Also since I sweat a lot, the makeup would run. I'll stick to my lipbalm and face lotion. Since it was Columbus Day yesterday, I didn't have babysitting. So I spent most of the day talking to my BFF (who sadly does not live in the same city or state as I) who didn't have school and was babysitting some kids. She sends me a bunch of voice messages which I always find myself laughing at even though half the time I don't understand what she's saying or what's going on. KEEP IT UP, MAR! And unfortunately, she is now at sc...

I Love You, Baking Powder

NOTE TO SELF: We need more baking butter and baking powder. Hello guys! I made a lot of epic fails yesterday! In the morning, I stressed over a writing assignment that isn't even part of my curriculum. I had to write 500 words about two friends who came together during or after a difficult time. It was due at 11:59 pm, and I had NO IDEAS. I don't know why I always say I'm creative. I'm not. Every story I write has to be fantasy or real-life fiction. I can't make things up. Though I must admit, my fantasy is pretty awesome. But my fantasy is always about talking animals. It's hard for me to write fake stories about PEOPLE. It's always gotta be fake stories about fake things. Anyway, I completed the assignment and submitted it, suspecting that the peers who had to critique it were gonna judge me. Then, I showered too close to my babysitting time and didn't tell Dad ahead of time that I had to babysit today, leading to a lot of fails. Mama got mad a...

HOORAY FOR OCTOBER!!! 🍁🍂🎃 My Michaels' class days are over, and honestly, the class I benefited from mostly was the arm knitting. It can be done with any thickness of yarn, but I prefer the fat yarn because it fills up the scarf more. And now that I know how to arm knit, I can probably figure out how to knit with the needles, too. Here's the cowl/infinity scarf we made in arm knitting class. Also, I've been drawing a lot of pictures lately, mostly chalk pastel art (with Z). My sketchbook is probably half-filled now.  Here's what I've been doing... (If you follow me on Pinterest or you're my friend on FB, you've probably already seen these. But if you haven't, enjoy) Okey, erm. My birthday was three days ago. I'm three years to twenty! Thank you to all the luvvable buddies who sent me birthday wishes!  On Friday, I went to jumuah prayer. I bought my two friends SA and MA ice cream at the masjid bookstore. I bought one for S too, and Sour Patch Ki...

Remove My Manicure

Image
[Wednesday, 23 September 2015] I thought of getting an unofficial manicure since Eid is on the way, but my nails just don't work with cosmetics like nail polish, so I'm going to remove my nail polish today and decorate my hands with bracelets instead. Nail polish stinks anyway. No, I didn't go to a nail salon. Why waste cash on that? No offense to the girlies who do go to nail salons!! I've come to the conclusion that I am a girly girl, but I'm too lazy to do stuff like make up and hairdos. The only make up I ever wear is lipstick. I do have a face routine, but it's just moisturizing my face. And I just don't have much experience with hair. Anyway, I went to drawing class at Michael's yesterday. The experience in five words: Dude teachers are extremely immature. I had another dude teacher of 19 years teach drawing class yesterday. When I found the teacher while looking for the classroom, I asked if he was the drawing teacher even though I already...

Rheumatism

I feel like I have rheumatism. That's what happens when you play tennis and take karate class in one day. Alright, perhaps it wouldn't hurt if I didn't pull off my amazing moves during tennis and take karate seriously. But I can't help it!!!! I feel like I wanna play tennis again now. Or basketball. Or rollerblade. I can't rollerblade, though, because I don't have a brake on one of them. And judging from my history of things on wheels, I really need a brake. ;) Pun intended, of course!! There's a really funny story behind that. I was probably under the age of nine (that's when Z was born) because I don't recall Z being there. And probably, if Z was there, this never would have happened. Or maybe something even more embarrassing would have happened. ANYWAY. So it was a normal day at the park. S, H, and I were riding bikes through the beautiful bike trail where green-leafed walls stood tall. Mom and Dad were behind us, and I don't remember ...
