Remove My Manicure

Image
[Wednesday, 23 September 2015] I thought of getting an unofficial manicure since Eid is on the way, but my nails just don't work with cosmetics like nail polish, so I'm going to remove my nail polish today and decorate my hands with bracelets instead. Nail polish stinks anyway. No, I didn't go to a nail salon. Why waste cash on that? No offense to the girlies who do go to nail salons!! I've come to the conclusion that I am a girly girl, but I'm too lazy to do stuff like make up and hairdos. The only make up I ever wear is lipstick. I do have a face routine, but it's just moisturizing my face. And I just don't have much experience with hair. Anyway, I went to drawing class at Michael's yesterday. The experience in five words: Dude teachers are extremely immature. I had another dude teacher of 19 years teach drawing class yesterday. When I found the teacher while looking for the classroom, I asked if he was the drawing teacher even though I already...

Rheumatism

I feel like I have rheumatism. That's what happens when you play tennis and take karate class in one day. Alright, perhaps it wouldn't hurt if I didn't pull off my amazing moves during tennis and take karate seriously. But I can't help it!!!! I feel like I wanna play tennis again now. Or basketball. Or rollerblade. I can't rollerblade, though, because I don't have a brake on one of them. And judging from my history of things on wheels, I really need a brake. ;) Pun intended, of course!! There's a really funny story behind that. I was probably under the age of nine (that's when Z was born) because I don't recall Z being there. And probably, if Z was there, this never would have happened. Or maybe something even more embarrassing would have happened. ANYWAY. So it was a normal day at the park. S, H, and I were riding bikes through the beautiful bike trail where green-leafed walls stood tall. Mom and Dad were behind us, and I don't remember ...

Say Hooray!!!!

If you're happy and you know it say hooray! Or hurray if you prefer. It's almost Eid people! What are y'all wearing? I'll tell you what I'm wearing. They're called clothes. And um... I got paid for babysitting on Thursday, I bought a candy bar from a vending machine on Friday, and I ate a banana at the masjid on Saturday. Oops I gave away my secret about buying candy... well no worries. Mum doesn't read this blog because she doesn't know where to get the link.  So, uh, I fasted on Thursday and I was all weak and stuff at M and Y's house. Weaker than usual, I mean. *cracks up* They really liked the stroller walk from the previous day... :OOOO OMG!! I didn't talk about my jewelry class!!! Do you guys mind if I zip back to September 15? No? Okay, here we go. TUESDAY, 15 SEPTEMBER 2015 Right after a laborious afternoon of babysitting, Dad took me to Michael's for my jewelry class. A cake class was in progress at one of the classrooms, ...

Scream When You See A Car

Hello! Today I babysat two children. First I cut two pears for them, and then we went upstairs to read books. We read a few books until one of the children got restless and he started to hit and kick me. I was like,"No! No hitting! No kicking!" And I grabbed his hands and his feet to make him stop. Then he began crying and I was like o mer gerd. So I grabbed him and patted his back while he sobbed on my shoulder. I talked to the girl child while I calmed the crying kid down. THEN we read another book after the child calmed down. Then we went downstairs because their mama was cooking good smelling food on the stove. Then, um. Their mama told me to go do my Asr prayer. So while I prayed, the two children, M and Y, walked in on me. Y played with the exercising machine across the room, and M prayed behind me. I know this because I felt her head behind my feet. After a while she left though. Then when I was done praying, I piggybacked M upstairs and hid from Y. Then I alternated f...

Malaysian Adventures Pt 3: Stop Stalking Me. Seriously.

Image
I've never felt so uncomfortable while shopping. Does this happen in ALL clothing stores? No? Okay, it's only Malaysia. AAARGGHHHH!!! Clothes shopping in Malaysia is so annoying!!!! Outdoor markets. Most of the time you're gonna want to buy cold drinks... Scrafs SCRAF. Sorry, but I think it's spelled scarf. Might as well put "hijab." I'm sorry, these are all the pictures I have of shopping. But that's fine, because I have more stories than I do pictures. Mom told us that the Malaysian word for 'stare' is 'jeling.' When we stopped in highway jams in Malaysia, the people in their cars besides us always stared. We called them "jelingers." Ughhhh so annoying!!! Hey, I mentioned this in a previous Malaysian Adventure post. The fact that people like to stare. I can't help being so goshdarn beautiful doe!!! ;3 Alright, just imagine a normal day when you're going clothes shopping. You walk in the store....

Water is Laif, Don't Waste It

Hey guyzzzz!! I wanna know who reads this blog. If you read this blog, don't be all creepy and quiet and hiding. You can comment. Your comment doesn't even have to be RELEVANT to the post. That's right!! For example. "Your blog sucks." YEAH. I'll accept that! "The template design is messed up." Yeah, probably. Thanks for the feedback!! "Why don't you write about useful things?" Not possible. Like it? Drew it today!!! #werewolves Okay, my little bro Z came to me and said, "Ummi said if you aren't doing school then come to her room and help with the puzzle." As if it's important pulak!! (my malay is kickin' in) We're having a three way conversation... well, two-way. Z's delivering the messages from me to mum and mum to me. Tbh, I need to go pee but I'm lazy to get up. Heh. As you can tell, this post isn't very organized. 'Pologies. Until next time! :)

My Friends... Fret Not!!!

I just want to make sure everybody sees this. !!! PSA !!! Okay, everyone's got the idea. So let's get to the point. Anyone to whom I don't send messages or talk anymore, it's not because I don't like you anymore. If I don't talk to you anymore, don't worry b'cuz we're still FRAAANDS!!! <3 I still think about y'aa erryday, even though you probably don't do the same. Not to be prideful or anything. Just saying. And go ahead and send me stuff. I'm not ignoring you. Okay, done. !!! END of PSA !!! What made me write that was the fact that my name can be written with the abbreviations of three chemicals. Anyway, yeah, I'm sorry about these random posts!! I'm still going to post that Malaysian shopping adventure!! It's school season, y'know!! Wait, I'll tell you a story. [When we were in Malaysia this year,] My grandma invited us kids to her place for a sleepover. A couple days before, I'd asked her...

Muslimahnime

Image
I doodle Muslimah animes all the time in my notebooks that aren't supposed to be for doodling. But they are pretty good, sometimes. ;P The many faces of a Muslimah #MuslimahStyle Love the one on the left. Such religious You got da world on yo head #cool Reflects my personality. Cats are also Muslims. Listen to her. Tried to draw a werewolf... Sorry, I'm kinda lazy to rotate. Tried to draw a possible protagonist for one of my stories Random comic using my old comic characters... I was trying to draw a chimp and then I practiced drawing arms and hands... Best so far. Was actually just practicing my signature. Until next time! :)

Yes, I take karate classes...

Hi. I was reading through my old blog AGAIN. I miss tussling with all them little kids in my old home. I can't believe a kid once asked me if I took karate classes after he tried fighting me. Blahaha. This was posted September 8th, 2013 on my blog Just Remember. ~ Last night we had the halaqa at the masjid. We discussed death and watched death videos and a few people were crying. Then we ate swiss rolls made by S and disgusting cupcakes made by me. Then some kids wanted to fight me. One of them asked me if I took karate classes. The nerve of him. XD ~ ;-; Yes, child, now I take karate classes.  Let me find some more... August 5th, 2013 ~ Last night, we went for iftar at the masjid. As soon as the athan was over, I ate a date and drank all my lemonade. Then I prayed. Then I feasted. The beef was veddy goot. So was the salad. As for dessert - pooh! I had two donuts and remained content. Then Halima Bean said she wanted to fight with me. So in the musall...

Malaysian Adventure Series Pt 2: Livin' It Up With Granddaddy

Image
Hey y'all, I am recovering from my severe illness, and I would like to thank all of you for the prayers and support. If you gave any, that is. Here is the next series of photos. We went to my great-uncle's place for a visit. Great-Uncle Win has a lot of cats around his area, and most of them aren't even his own. This here kitten is flea-infested, however not surprising considering the state of the place. And nothing in Malaysia is ever totally clean, anyway. Malaysians don't use toilet paper or towels. They only use towels for showering. But I was bothered by how they don't use towels to dry themselves after making wudu. Just an American-Muslim thing... ~ I loved this kitty especially because it slept on my lap as people chattered around it. H told me to put this cat down since it had fleas and that the disease would spread to me. But I told him I didn't care. And then S said something wise and amazing which wasn't wise enough because I don't re...

Malaysian Adventure Series Pt 1: The Beach at PD

Image
I guess I should be sorry for not telling y'all anything about my vacay. Prepare for a series of posts with captioned photos from the trip. ^_^ 'Nuff said This is for washing your body with after you've totally dirtied yourself at the beach. One time when Granddaddy was washing us off, these security guards were watching us, bewildered, as if the foot wash is only for the feet and not the whole body. Well, you gotta do what you gotta do. Malaysian security guards stare at you a lot. Everyone in Malaysia stares at you. Once when we were going to a friend's house, this Bas Sekolah (school bus) came up next to us, and everyone inside stared at us. I smiled and waved at one girl who looked haughty. And guess what? She waved back!! x) #archery #wedidntdothis This resort was just full of great activities. We didn't have much time there, however. Only three days and two nights. Mostly, all we did was swim. Be it in salt or chlorine water. That's meee (g...
