Amaze

Something I find very irritating is when people leave pens open. Whenever I'm told to write a grocery list and people take time to think what I should write, I keep the pen closed, and I have to keep opening it and closing it because the people take what feels like an hour. I wrote this because there's a cup containing pens nearby and I noticed that a pink pen was open. After an internal cringe, I took it out, closed it, and put it back. Boo yah! That was the pen I was looking for last night. Anyway, yes, the camping. Ur hunh hur... it was a loooonnng day. Liek oh gawd. I would need complete silence and ample time to write it all out. And Tuesday is one of my busiest days, so soz peeps. Maybe tomozz. HURR HURR APRIL FEWLZ YOU AIN'T NEVER GITTIN' NO BLOG POST LOLZ I would never do that, of course. Please, don't be gullible. I'm hungry. My lip is in pain. So this post won't cover anything about part two of camping, and I'm sorry to those who get a ...

So Liek

Today, March 29, is National Lemon Chiffon Cake Day. Let me remind my wonderful, caring, considerate sister to send me the pictures of the cake I made on Wednesday. Okay, now to the point. I had a chill week. Well, week end . When does ANYONE have a chill week these days? Soww, on Friday, we left the 'partment for the Collin County Adventure Camp. It was an hour or an hour and a half away, and I slept most of the time 'cause the sun was warm and lovely and I find it difficult to stay awake on road trips. And I didn't eat lunch. (Well, y'think that'd keep me awake, yeah?) So when we got there, we did archery and BB gun shooting. The archery was amaze, as always, but the bows I used in Malaysia and in archery club are much much better. There was no notch on the bow for the arrow to rest on, and additionally, the bows were too light. When Mum shot, she missed all but the last, which hit the bull's eye. But anyway, after that, we went ziplining. It took foreve...

Much Excite

This week has been a full pizza week. Totes. I had pizza FOUR CHEESEBALL DAYS in a row. Monday the day I first made it. Tuesday the day I second made it. Wednesday Brother H made three pizzas (O_O). Thursday, in Qur'an class, someone finished the Qur'an, so there was a little pizza and ice cream party in the gym/multipurpose hall. I'll just call it a gym because it IS a gym. If the place has basketball hoops and a huge floor, it's a gym. And on Friday, I forg--- no, I remember. Went to Jumooah as always (and I spelled it like that for fun) and took a friend to the leebraaaarie for a few hours then sent her home. Then at home I made some brownies with peanut butter chips, which tasted amaze. Then at Maghrib time I went to the masjid for the YM halaqa that actually already happened. It's k, 'cause I went to the book club which was pretty awesome too! Basically all they do is talk about ayahs in certain surahs that stick out to them. Not sure if you all know abou...

Purrza

Was eating breakfast and realized I needed to update my blog. Whussnew? My tummy's making gurgling sounds. Interesting, right? Let's begin from Saturday. SATURDAY: Woke up and realized I slept past Pi time. Not 3:14am. 9:26:53am. The ULTIMATE PI TIME THAT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN UNTIL A HUNDRED MORE YEARS OR SOMETHIN'. But geez, that's okay. Not like anything drastic would happen at that time anyway, like flies having a tea party. I forgot what happened, but basically Mom and Dad went shopping and then they got home and cooked stuff for a friend family. Then, nothing happened until 6pm, which was the time the Story of Jibreel happened. So, 'twas cool and all, y'know? Huge room with huge chairs and huge carpets and huge people... wait. Nvm. Then, yeah. We registered and all, and as I was walking into the huge room with huge... okay, forget it. As I was walking into the room with Bro and Dad, I smelled so much perfume that I nearly fainted. I felt dizzy and wooz...

Sticky Keys

I'm at the library right now. The keyboard of this computer is kinda sticky and sorta loud when I type really fast on it. Also, Sis is sending me messages and I'm not getting them when she sends them. That's how slow the internet is. Outside the weather is rainish and gloomy. There's a child behind me a few feet away whom I fear may be spying on everything I've done so far. Which was check mail, go to G+, go to G-Drive for no reason, and look at my blog. There are a lot of people around me who are making me feel self conscious. Someone just said, "Teens, teenagers." And I'm all like lel. He just walked behind me and I bent over to hide idk what. As if bending over a little will hide what I'm writing. Lul. I have to do a report for history class but I wouldn't do that in a library. 'Specially with strange chillun around. I get a computer session for one hour and so far I've used up about twenty minutes. Usually when I'm here I don...

Spring Break

Hello all. So, err... what happened? Ugh, my memory doesn't work that well. What happened on Friday?? We went to Jumuah, then I went to the library with Z while Mum drove to the college with S. I selected some random books I saw lined up on the 'new books' shelf while Z played games. Yeah. Then Mum and S came and we borrowed a million DVDs. Then, we went home, and watched our movies, and basically I forgot what else happened. Saturday night, we had the first chillin' session in forever. Ugh... um.... oh, yeah, we discussed labels. We went around the circle/oval and told everyone what we would label ourselves. I labeled myself writer, artist, baker, and adviser. Then we played dangerous but hilarious games. Then I went home and slept. And everyone needs to know that, right? Sunday, I... uhh... made a... wait, I went to the store first to refill our inventory with Daddeh. Then when I got home, we watched Emily of New Moon while I prepared ingredients to make an orange...

Iced In

Image
Debating on whether to jump in the pool or nah. Due to inclement weather, there was no Qur'an class yesterday. Which was chill, 'cause I had to wash dishes and shower and stuff. And there were a lot of dishes 'cause I'd just made a dark chocolate cake. (Delish!) After Fajr prayer today, I tried to do my surah while Z told me to pick letters for the game Hangman. I ended up not doing it and got distracted by Hangman. Heh heh. Ugh. Seriously doe. Why does this child wake up so early? Then, the room brightened up, and I looked outside the window to see pure white. More snow? I thought. I had the inkling that all of the snow for Texas was over, since Texas was such a hot state. Oh, well. I made dark chocolate pancakes for breakfast (heh heh) while singing to myself, while also practicing for my appearance on my non-existent cooking show, while also contemplating my life. For some reason the pan smoked a lot, but I don't make pancakes regularly, so I found it ...

Ecstatic!!

What a great day! Our oven is finally fixed! Additionally, the pest control dude arrived yesterday, handled the matter in less than five minutes, and left us feeling like facewalling. I'll tell you why. Mommy thought they were gonna fog the house like they did last time, meaning we had to stay out of the house until the fog diminished. So, for yesterday, we had a rough plan (at least, I thought it was rough) on what was going to happen. We get ready before the guy comes, leave the house when the guy comes, wait outside for Mommy to swing by and take us to safety, and stay in safety until the "house" is alright to chill in. However, it didn't really happen like that. I heard random sounds outside, and rushed to check the window. I spotted the pest guy's decorative truck parked below. OMG! I thought, and told Sister. She rushed to get everything out of the kitchen, while I stood around stupidly (don't actually remember what I did except make her angry, LEL)...

I have no motivation whatsoever

I'm lazy. Pretty dang lazy. Last week I didn't go to karate because I had the wonderful excuse that went, "the weather's making me depressed." And yeah, I already mentioned that like three posts ago, so why mention it now. Anyway, I mustered up all the courage and strength I probably didn't have, and faced the biting cold weather. At least it wasn't raining, and well, why stay inside on the first day of March? Also, there was supposed to be a thaw today, meaning no more snow, and so I was like yaaas, I ma'zwell. So I braved the storm and went to the VRIC meeting and karate. Sunday is my least favorite day even here. When am I going to like Sundays? *scream* A few interesting events are on the way, but I won't mention them until I'm very sure they'll actually happen, because I hate being confident about the future. Even if I say InshaAllah, I'm still afraid. Is that bad? I feel like it is. DX So anywho, while Mum was at school and ...
